Privacy Policy

Overview

WireNest helps you organize cables and areas on your device. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is stored, and how you can contact us.

Information we collect

• Account: If you sign in with Apple, we store a display name and an Apple user identifier on your device. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
• Inventory data: Area names, cable labels, photos, notes, device names, use cases, and related metadata you enter.
• Purchases: Coin pack purchases are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
• Notifications: If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No reminder content is sent to our servers.

How data is stored

Your inventory, profile, photos, and coin balance are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad unless you use a future cloud feature we describe separately. We do not operate a WireNest cloud database for your cable lists today.

Deleting all data in the app removes local inventory and resets coins according to in-app rules. Signing out clears your local profile display settings tied to the account card.

Photos, camera, and microphone

The app may request access to the camera and photo library so you can attach images to areas and cables. Microphone access is optional and used only if you record a voice note for a cable. Media stays on your device unless you share it outside the app yourself.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your inventory for advertising profiles.
• We do not upload your cable photos to our servers in the current version of the app.

Children

WireNest is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
